Ashley Cole has urged former Chelsea team mate Samuel Eto’o to join him at Roma.
Cole and Eto’o were both released by Chelsea earlier on in the summer, and Eto’o has not assigned himself to a new club, but now the Cole has advised him to join him in Italy.
The 33-year-old has been tipped to follow Cole to The Eternal City and the defender, who is also 33, believes he would be a great addition.
When asked about Eto’o, Cole said: “I’ve heard these rumours and the only thing that I can say is that we are talking about a great player and a great striker. With him the team would improve, but it’s not up to me.”
