Another top of the table clash takes place on Super Sunday this weekend.

It’ll be a huge game this Sunday when high-flying Tottenham take on Man City in what will be a title crunch clash.

Both sides will be eager to secure the three points and it should make for an intriguing watch. With the sides set to do battle, here is our combined XI for the game!

GK – Hugo Lloris

He has been outstanding for Spurs this season and his defensive displays have helped Tottenham get to where they currently are in the league. He is one of the club’s key players and he continues to deliver week in, week out for them.

RB – Bacary Sagna

The 32-year old has had a superb season for Man City so far this year, cementing the RB position at the club. He is superb in the air and he is capable of using the ball well when it is at his feet. Good on the attack and good in defence.

CB – Toby Alderweireld

Since his move to Tottenham, he has only become even better. The Belgium international is solid at the centre of defence for Spurs and he is steadily establishing himself as one of the best CBs in the league.

CB – Nicolas Otamendi

I would have chosen Vincent Kompany here but going off current form and performances this season, the ex-Valencia man edges it. Kompany has suffered with injuries this year and in his absence, Otamendi has done a fine job in defence for City. He is a threat from set-pieces due to his height and he has a quality tackling ability.

LB – Danny Rose

He is another player who has steadily established themselves as a key player for Tottenham. His dribbling is quality and he is able to help start attacks because of his fantastic running and ability to play some killer passes at times. Not only is he good in attack but his tackling is very good as well, meaning he is able to get back and help his team out extremely well in defence too.

CM – Dele Alli

The youngster has made the step-up to top flight football superbly, despite playing in League 1 just last year. He is not only a goal threat in the middle of the field but he is also great when passing the ball and is able to provide assists for his teammates too. An all-round brilliant player so far, with huge potential.

CM – Kevin De Bruyne

He has proven to be an inspired signing for Man City, with the CAM (I’ve had to play him as a CM for the purpose of this article!) becoming already one of the best players in the league. He has managed to grab himself 12 goals and nine assists so far this season for City and it shows that he is capable of both snatching the goals himself to help his team win and also to provide for his teammates. An all-round very talented player.

LM – Christian Eriksen

I’ve had to play Eriksen on the left to fit him in but it is also arguably his best position (or at least as an attacking midfielder on the left anyway). He is superb at set-pieces scoring many free-kicks during his time at Tottenham, while his long shots are also a huge threat and although he can score goals, he mainly focuses on setting up teammates, bagging 9 assists so far this season.

RM – Raheem Sterling

Again, I’ve had to play Sterling on the right just to fit him in to this star-studded lineup, as he definitely deserves a place. Since his move to Man City, he has continued to develop as a player and has already become a key player for the club. He has brilliant dribbling ability, causing danger to the opposition most times that he gets hold of the ball. Another player who is able to score and set-up goals, he would be an asset to any side.

ST – Harry Kane

The striker continues to impress after bursting on to the scene last year and he hasn’t lost his goal scoring touch, racking up 18 goals for Spurs in all club competitions so far this season, which is by far no mean feat. He is arguably Tottenham’s main attacking threat and he continues to put in impressive showings for the club every week. A key player for club and country now.

ST – Sergio Aguero

One of the best players in the Premier League. He too has bagged 18 goals this season in all club competitions and whenever he plays for Man City, the opposition should be worried. His finishing is extraordinarily good and his dribbling ability is also fantastic. He can win games single-handedly if he needs to.
