Here is our combined XI for all of the current top four sides

Ahead of a super Sunday packed full of top of the table clashes, we reveal who would go into our top four teams combined XI.

I’ll be honest – deciding this team and ensuring each team had at least two players in the side was extremely hard and I have had to leave some quality players out because of it.

Here they are…

GK – Hugo Lloris

Been a key player for Tottenham and one of the best keepers in the league. A safe pair of hands at the back for Spurs and he has been for most of the year so far. Kept several clean sheets this season.

RB – Bacary Sagna

Sagna is good in both defence and attack, with the 32-year old able to get forward and provide assists while also defending well too. He’s been superb for City so far this season and has made the RB spot his own. Still a top player for them.

CB – Nicolas Otamendi

Otamendi has done an astute job replacing Kompany while the Belgian has been out injured. The CB is a threat from set-pieces and is strong in the tackle and is always solid at the back for the club.

CB – Toby Alderweireld

Has only become even better since his move to Spurs from Southampton. Always seems to be focused and has become a mainstay in the Tottenham team with some outstanding performances this season. A real, solid centre-back.

LB – Nacho Monreal

Been brilliant for Arsenal so far this season with his ability on the ball and his passing and defending skills. He is arguably becoming one of the best LB’s in the league and therefore rightly deserves his place in this side.

RM – Riyad Mahrez

One of the breakout players of the year. His performances for Leicester have helped take them where they are and he has been nothing short of pure quality for the Foxes this year. Can provide goals and assists from the wing and has single-handedly won games for the club this year. A definite player of the season.

LM – Alexis Sanchez

A provider of both goals and assists. he has become a key player for Arsenal since his move. He has continued to impress this season and his dribbling ability is also excellent. One of the best in the league.

CDM – N’Golo Kante

Since his move to Leicester, he has been on fire. Solid in the tackle and superb when defending but also able to push his side forward and provide assists and even goals for his teammates. Another one of the reasons why Leicester are doing so well this year.

CAM – Mesut Ozil

Another player who has a claim for being one of the best in the league. The CAM is able to score goals but his main focus is on setting up his teammates and he is one of the very best at doing so. He has 16 assists so far this season and is a vital part of the Arsenal engine.

ST – Jamie Vardy

Has really burst onto the scene this year like Mahrez and Kante and provided the goals that have fired Leicester to the top of the Premier League table. His finishing is brilliant and he is the current leading goalscorer in the league.

ST – Sergio Aguero

Still continues to be one of the best strikers in the league. You are guaranteed goals with the 27-year old in the side, with his finishing ability being arguably one of the best in the world! He is also extremely good when dribbling with the ball and can control games all by himself and win them single handedly for his side.
