The Blues boss is under increasing pressure
According to reports, several Chelsea players want Jose Mourinho sacked as the manager of the club.
ESPN claim that John Terry, Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta are the only members of the squad at Stamford Bridge that are still behind the Portuguese gaffer.
It is believed that the rest of the squad have lost belief in the 52-year old and that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would have already relieved him of his duties but for a huge compensation payoff.
Mourinho is apparently entitled to have the rest of his contract paid to him in full and his representatives would push for this money if he was to be dismissed by Abramovich.
The West London club currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, despite winning the title under Mourinho’s guidance last season.
