The midfielder has joined the Cherries on a season-long loan
Jack Wilshere has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal.
The England midfielder was told he can leave Arsenal on loan earlier this week and since that announcement, several top teams have been interested.
It looked likely that he would be on his way to Italy, with Roma close to signing him earlier today, only for the player himself to decide against a move to Serie A. He decided he would rather stay in England and it has led to Bournemouth securing his signature.
Wilshere has suffered with injuries
They faced stiff competition from Crystal Palace to get hold of him but in the end, the Cherries got their man.
Wilshere has suffered over the last few years with several injuries and he’ll be hoping that regular first-team action and a season at Bournemouth will get his career back on track and propel him into the plans of new England manager, Sam Allardyce.
The 24-year old was once touted as ‘the next big thing’ for his club and country but a series of injuries halted his progress. Now though, with a year away from the Emirates Stadium, he’ll be desperate to prove himself again.
