Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says ‘Victor Moses needs time to build fitness’
Conte has suggested that he is still somewhat reluctant to put Victor Moses straight back into action after a hamstring injury.
Moses was sidelined for six weeks before being named as a substitute for Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday, however, the wing-back did not make it onto the pitch at Anfield.
Moses could feature in the squad for Wednesday’s Premier League meeting with Swansea City, but Conte has hinted that the player is not ready to play 90 minutes.
The 48-year-old told reporters: “He is in contention but at the same time I have to make the best decision for every player.
