The Blues are reportedly keen to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu as a replacement for Oscar.
This came from the Metro.
Oscar has been linked with a mover worth £20 million to Inter Milan, after apparently being told he can now leave Stamford Bridge by Antonio Conte.
Chelsea will set for a bargain as Hakan is estimated to be worth just over £17 million by Turkish publication HaberTurk.
Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim is even thought to have given the move the green light, with the midfielder reportedly telling his boss about the potential transfer during the recent international break.
Calhanoglu is known for his brilliant ability from set pieces, and will rival Willian for free-kick taking duties should he join.
The 22-year-old has three goals and three assists in 12 appearances this season, and is a key player under manager Roger Schmidt.
Conte is said to be looking to improve his attacking midfield options and he would make a perfect fit.
