Conte wants the striker to move to Stamford Bridge if he becomes the next manager of the club

Antonio Conte wants Antoine Griezmann to join him at Chelsea, according to reports.

The manager has reportedly agreed a deal to take over at Stamford Bridge when the season comes to an end and he will be looking to move quickly to bring in his own players to help revitalise and rejuvenate the club ahead of next season.

One of his main targets is believed to be Antoine Griezmann, who has previously been a target for the Blues in the past. The club have once again been keeping a close eye on the striker and he continues to impress them.

Atletico would want at least ÂŁ40m

Atletico will want a rather hefty sum for the 24-year old though, who has become one of Madrid’s best players. The fee offered by Chelsea could be at least ÂŁ40m but this would potentially be no problem for the Blues, with Roman Abramovich reportedly willing to offer a transfer budget of ÂŁ100m or more!

It’s no wonder Griezmann is wanted so badly by Chelsea, with the Frenchman continuing to impress in Spain. He can play pretty much anywhere up-front, whether that be as a central striker or on the right or left and his finishing is extraordinary. He currently has 21 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Atletico.
