Brazilian side Corinthians could sell star-asset Alexandre Pato’o, according to the club’s director, Roberto de Andrade.
The 24-year-old has only been back in his homeland for 10-months since his January move from AC Milan, but due to financial reasons, the Brazilian outfit could be forced to sell him if the right offer comes in.
After spending five years at the San Siro, Pato’o quickly became one of Europe’s hottest strikers, but made the decision to move back to Brazil in order to stake his claim for a spot in the national side ahead of next Summer’s World Cup.
However, Andrade has confirmed that if there is concrete interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham, they may sell the Brazilian.
“Considering his value, I think it’s hard that he moves to another Brazilian club,” De Andrade told Radio Bandeirantes.
“If those two clubs (Arsenal and Tottenham) are interested in Pato, we don’t rule out selling him in the winter transfer market.”
