Douglas Costa has revealed that he is ready to leave Shakhtar Donetsk. The 23-year old has constantly been linked with a move away, due to the current political unrest surrounding the country of the club.
Arsenal and AC Milan are two teams who have been interested in making a move, with the Gunners leading the race for the forward. Now, the Brazilian – who has a ÂŁ40m release clause in his contract – has admitted he is ‘ready’ to leave.
He said: “If an offer came, I would take it immediately. I think I am ready for a big club.
“Moreover, playing in a league like Serie A or the Premier League, I would have more chances of being called up to the Brazil national team.”
