Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro believes Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is similar to the Barcelona legend Ronaldinho.
The two teams will go head-to-head on Sunday at White Hart Lane, and despite Luis Suarez being the obvious threat to Spurs and co., their Brazilian midfielder believes it’s his counterpart that could be the dangerman come Sunday.
Sandro said: “With the ball, Coutinho’s passes are like Ronaldinho’s. His passes are good, man. He doesn’t move a lot. But his passing! You think he is going to pass here and he passes there instead.
“He does the same as Ronaldinho. You think he’s going to do one thing, and he does something completely different. He changes. Ronaldinho was the best player, but I think their style is similar. I’m happy for him. He is young but he starts good at Liverpool. It is difficult to do that at Liverpool.
Coutinho, who has struggled with fitness lately, will be fit enough for the big clash on Sunday, and Sandro is hopeful that he can deny Coutinho the space and time the pull the strings throughout the match.
