Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, has hailed Manchester United signing Radamel Falcao and believes the club have captured ‘a very good’ player.
The Red Devils finally managed to capture the Colombian striker past the inital deadline, but after filing for an extension, they managed to complete the loan-deal, which can be made permanent next Summer.
It’s believed United paid AS Monaco £6million to loan the star-striker, and will pay him nearly £350k-a-week, making him one of the club’s top earners, alongside Wayne Rooney.
After hearing about the signing, ex-Manchester United star, Ronaldo, admitted that the club had pulled off a great signing.
‘He is very good player. I think Manchester did very well. I don’t think he is the wrong type of player. He is a top player so I don’t think it is a wrong buy.
‘I think he will be a fantastic buy. Manchester have not started well, two points, so they need quality players and Falcao is a quality player.’
