Cristiano Ronaldo insists he is enjoying his time in Italy and wants to contribute more to Juventus’ success.
The Italian giants lost their Champions League first leg 2-0 to Atletico Madrid and are on the verge of an exit. A number of teams including Manchester United have managed to turn the tide in the second leg and the onus will be on Ronaldo who can change the course of the game single handedly.
The Portuguese international won three consecutive Champions League at Real Madrid and would be hoping to grab another one during his stay in Turin. The arrival of Zinedine Zidane has fuelled rumours of a potential reunion at the Santiago Bernabeu but the Portuguese international doesn’t seem to be bothered by the speculations.
Ronaldo said, “I have no secrets, just my dedication and my passion for this sport, I love to play football more than anything else.
“I’ve enjoyed myself in Portugal, England and Spain and I am now doing so in Italy. For me, it’s a pleasure to score goals and to help my team win. I’m happy.”
“Everyone knows that they are a strong team, they defend very well, they don’t take a lot of risks and they play on the counter-attack
“But we are ready, and we will do everything we can to beat them.”
