Former Manchester United manager has met with the Portuguese international
Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly met with Cristiano Ronaldo, in an attempt to convince him to a move back to Manchester United.
Reports in Spain suggest Ferguson had dinner with the 30-year-old, who spent six-years at Old Trafford between 2003-2009, before making an £80m move to Madrid.
Ronaldo has endured a frustrating time in Madrid recently, with the Spanish side involved in a tough start to 2015, with some poor results.
United are keen to re-sign the Portuguese captain this summer, with club officials claiming that negotiations are underway for a deal in the summer.
Any deal to bring him back to Manchester would cost around £71 million.
Ronaldo has currently scored 30 goals for Madrid in the Spanish La Liga this season.
