Crystal Palace are keen on signing Liverpool striker, Rickie Lambert, at the end of the season.
Alan Pardew has worked with Lambert before and was the man who signed the striker for Southampton back in 2009 from Bristol Rovers, and he is keen on having a reunion with him at his new club, Crystal Palace.
Lambert only moved to Anfield last Summer from Southampton and despite admitting it’s his dream move due to being a Reds fan, he could be set to leave just a year later after struggling to break into the first-team.
The Englishman was close to leaving on loan in the January window, with Aston Villa keen on signing him, but instead of going somewhere for regular game-time, he chose to stay in Merseyside and fight for his place under Brendan Rodgers.
Lambert will have a tough decision to make regarding his future at the end of the season, but he could be persuaded by the man who gave him a chance in the first place six years ago.
