The winger has failed to settle at the Blues

Attacker Juan Cuadrado could bring his Chelsea career to a premature end in the up and coming summer transfer window.

The Colombian international hasn’t adapted to life in the Premier League since his ÂŁ23 million January transfer window move from Fiorentina. But he could be allowed a new lease of life by returning to Serie A if he does decide to quit at Stamford Bridge.

According to Italian media sources, Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma have all lodged official enquiries to Chelsea, as they each prepare a potential bid for Cuadrado.

Mourinho wants an adequate replacement

If Cuadrado returns to Italy from England, Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho will want to replace him to keep the strength in depth in his title winning squad.

Mourinho is said to be lining up Atletico Madrid’s French international playmaker Antoine Griezmann as Cuadrado’s replacement. He also expects Cuadrado to leave on a cut loss deal.

The 27-year old has failed to score in any of his 14 appearances since he joined Chelsea just after Christmas.
