Dani Carvajal has wished all the best to Chelsea outcast Alvaro Morata.

The Spanish international is on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid on an 18 month loan deal. The Spanish giants will have the option to make the deal permanent if they want to.

Morata’s struggle became very much evident and his failure to find the back of the net has hurt Chelsea big time. Maurizio Sarri preferred Morata to lead his attack but his contribution to the team hasn’t affected the whole scenario so far.

The Italian was using Eden Hazard in the false nine role and the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain at the Stamford Bridge paved his way to leave the West London outfit.

Morata could be seen playing in his old hunting ground and with Digo Costa out for a prolonged period Diego Simeone might use him pretty profusely in the upcoming few games.

Carvajal said, “They are decisions of each player. I do not judge him.

“If he is happy at Atletico, I am happy for him. He is my friend and I wish him the best.

“I’m happy for him because in England he did not have many opportunities.

“We just hope he does not have a good game against us [On February 9].”
