Daniel Arzani will be joining Celtic on loan from Manchester City. The loan deal is a part of the 19-year old’s development. The Australian teenager was signed by Manchester City just today. Arzani’s Australia teammate Aaron Mooy was also loaned from Manchester City. He was loaned off to Huddersfield Town for the 2016-17 season before being signed by the club last summer.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said, “He is another exciting young talent and we will see if we can get that organised in the next few days,” he said. He has just flown in, he hasn’t trained. He has obviously been at the World Cup so he will need to be in for a couple of weeks before he gets up to speed.”
Daniel Arzani is currently one of Australia’s brightest young talents. He expressed his delight about playing in Europe, saying, “Having the chance to train and play in Europe is a dream come true and a challenge I’m confident will only help me improve as a player.”
