Liverpool star, Daniel Sturridge, has revealed that the club will miss Steven Gerrard in so many ways once he leaves for LA Galaxy in the Summer.

The Merseyside legend has agreed to leave Anfield at the end of this season and has already agreed to join LA Galaxy in the MLS, meaning he will end his long-term career with his boyhood club.

Gerrard has become a Liverpool legend throughout his career and dropped the bombshell on the fans and the club late last year, confirming that he won’t be signing a new deal and will be moving abroad.

When asked about the impact it’ll have on the club once Gerrard leaves, Sturridge admitted that it will effect the club all over.

“It’s hard to put your finger on one thing,” Sturridge told BT Sport’s Michael Owen.

“First and foremost the way he plays, his passing, his leadership, he does everything, he can score goals, he can tackle he can do everything.

“Aside from that the leadership qualities in the dressing room, around the training ground, that respect for what he has done in the game its hard to find somebody who has got the record.

“There’s not many players out there that’s playing professionally right now that’s achieved what he’s achieved.”
