Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he is ready for an England call-up and is hoping that his goalscoring form can continue for his country.
The Reds man was called up for the last England squad, but he eventually pulled-out and admitted that his career for club is more important, but now, the Englishman has said he is ready for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
Sturridge is currently the Premier League’s top goalscorer and continued his impressive form on Saturday, netting one of the goals against Crystal Palace and he has admitted that he is now feeling ready to help England get to Brazil next summer.
“I’m fit and ready to go and I’m really happy about that, as I was really gutted to miss the last two England games,” said Sturridge.
“I feel I’m in the form of my life and hope to give the England boss a selection problem.”
