Striker fed up with public criticism of him from Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge wants to quit the club in the summer, according to reports.

The England international has missed the majority of the season through injury, but he has grown fed up of the constant criticism of him from Jurgen Klopp since his arrival late last year.

Klopp has been open and honest about Sturridge‘s fitness issues and injury problems, but the striker is growing tired of the regular criticism in the media.

According to reports, Arsenal are considering a shock move for the striker, and with Sturridge keen on departing Anfield, a deal could be arranged over the summer.

Sturridge Struggles

The 26-year-old has made just five Premier League appearances this season, leaving Klopp with just Christian Benteke as a fit striker, with Danny Ings and Divock Origi both injured too, and according to reports, the manager is willing to sell as well.

The reports are claiming that Sturridge feels his career will be revived if he moves elsewhere, despite the injury issues, and it looks like he will have several options to choose from.

Reports claim his former club Chelsea, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal could all be interested.
