Barcelona forward Neymar has urged his Brazilian compatriot Danilo against a move to Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid, however Neymar, who is a close friend of the Porto man, has urged Danilo not to pen a deal with Madrid.
Spanish Newspaper Marca claim that Neymar has attempted to talk Danilo out of a move to the Bernabeu, with Liverpool now favourites to sign him in the summer.
And the Reds hope that fellow Brazilian internationals, Lucas, and Phillipe Coutinho, can convince him to move to Anfield.
However, Liverpool also face competition from Serie A Champions Juventus.
