Danny Ings favours Manchester United move

Danny Ings is keen on making a move to Manchester United over the Summer, snubbing interest from their former-boss David Moyes and also their fierce-rivals, Liverpool.

The Burnley striker is out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to leave the club after impressing during his debut season in the Premier League.

United’s former-manager, David Moyes, has already tried to sign Ings for his new club, Real Sociedad, but the striker snubbed the chance to go to Spain as he was keen to remain in England, leaving Liverpool and United in the race.

However, despite strong interest from Brendan Rodgers, it looks like Ings is holding on for a move to Old Trafford rather than Anfield, and a Summer deal could take place with The Red Devils reportedly set to lose both Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie.

The Colombian’s loan-deal will expire, whilst the club are considering selling the Dutchman after an injury-plagued season.

Despite being a free transfer at the end of the season, if a Premier League club were to sign Ings, they would have to pay a compensation fee due to his age. This fee is rumoured to be around ÂŁ6million.
