Burnley manager, Sean Dyche, is adament that star-striker, Danny Ings, is not thinking about a potential move to a bigger Premier League team.

The forward has been strongly linked with a move away from Turf Moor and joining either Manchester United or Liverpool, but Dyche insists that his player is only focusing on keeping The Clarets in the Premier League for another season.

Ings’ contract expires in the Summer and Burnley took the risk of not selling him in January, meaning they may lose him on a free at the end of the season, and with reports that Real Sociedad want to sign him, he could agree a deal in principle already.

However, Dyche has cleared things up by stating the striker is only thinking about Burnley.

“I’ve got no reason to doubt his thoughts about Burnley Football Club and what we’re doing,” Dyche said.

“You can tell that by his performances. He’s been terrific all week in training so he certainly looks ready to play.

“He’s known me a while so he knows he can trust me, and I think he trusts the people here.

“We’re always very honest and open and I think he understands that.”
