Manchester United manager David Moyes had been planning a £45million raid of the Premier League with both Seamus Coleman and Luke Shaw high on his wishlist, but now according to reports, he has been given a massive £100million to spend in the Summer.

The Scot has struggled in his first-season at Old Trafford and has a real fight on his hands to achieve a top-four finish at his new club, but even if he fails to achieve that, he will still be given the funds to strengthen his squad.

It is believed Moyes will have £100million to spend on new faces and on his radar is; Juventus duo Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba, Southampton’s Luke Shaw, Ajax’s Joel Veltman and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa.

Moyes knows that his defence will be depleted in the Summer with Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra all expected to leave the club, and as their replacements, Moyes wants to bring in Shaw and Veltman, as well as Everton defender Seamus Coleman.

The former-Everton boss is also desperate to strengthen his midfield and long-term Juve duo are his main two targets, with Madrid’s Diego Costa also wanted to add some more attacking threat along with Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney.

Whether Moyes will be able to attract these players without Champions League football is another thing, but it is clear that the United board are ready to back the new manager financially.
