Manchester United coach Phil Neville believes the recent improvement at Old Trafford is due to the players starting to trust new manager David Moyes a lot more.
After a slow and tricky start, which included defeats to Liverpool, Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion, a lot of people were questioning United and wondering whether they’d even be in the top-four come May.
However, a win over Arsenal last weekend has put them back to within five points of the league leaders, and Neville believes it is all down to the trust the players now have within the manager.
“Defeat by West Brom was a real wake-up call for the players and manager,” Neville told the BBC’s Football Focus.
“The players are beginning to trust the manager and his philosophy and I think you saw that against Arsenal.”
