David Moyes is frustrated that he wasn’t given more time at Manchester United after he was sacked from his post yesterday, just 10-months after taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Scot hasn’t made any formal quotes about the sacking as of yet, but according to sources, Moyes is furious that the club decided to sack him on such short notice and cannot believe they have refused to give him more time at the club.
According to numerous sources, Moyes understands that the season wasn’t good enough and the failure of achieving Champions League football was a disaster, but he felt like he had the full support of the board up until Monday night, just hours before the sacking was announced.
It’s believed that Moyes didn’t quite have the same relationship with the players as Sir Alex did and that was another reason why the club decided to sack him.
The Scot was so sure of his job, he started to prepare for the Summer transfer market, but it now looks like it will be someone else dealing with the overhaul at Old Trafford.
