Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted that he would love Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford one day.
There have been serious speculation over the past year about the Portuguese international’s future with some saying he’s happy in Madrid and others saying he’s desperate to leave, however, in recent weeks, the star himself has revealed that he finally feels at home in Spain and is glad that the fans have finally taken to him.
Moyes was one of millions who watched Ronaldo single-handedly tear Sweden apart in their World Cup Qualifier and the United boss is in awe of the 27-year-old and is hopeful that one day he can work with him.
‘Everyone at Manchester United would tell you he is the best in the business anyway,’ Moyes told MUTV.
‘I have not been fortunate enough to work with him but there is still hope some day it might be possible.’
