Arsenal goalkeeper will leave if dropped for Bayern Munich game

David Ospina is ready to force a move away from Arsenal if Arsene Wenger drops him for the vital Champions League game against Bayern Munich.

The Colombian has clearly been told by Wenger that he will be the cup goalkeeper throughout the season after he started games against Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup and Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos in the Champions League.

During those three matches, Ospina has been on the losing side twice, as Arsenal have lost both Champions League matches so far this season, with the Colombian at fault during the loss to the Greek side.

Ospina dropped the ball into his own-net directly from a corner at the Emirates Stadium during their 3-2 defeat to Olympiakos, and with Bayern Munich now being a must-win game, it’s reported that Wenger will turn back to regular number-one Petr Cech.

Ospina Will Quit If Dropped

Wenger persuaded Opsina to stay in North London over the summer by promising him regular football, but if he is to be dropped for the Munich game, he will force an exit from the club in the New Year.

According to reports, four clubs are monitoring Ospina’s situation at Arsenal, with Besiktas, Getafe, Genoa and Palermo all interested.
