Predicted Chelsea starting line-up vs Everton Zappacosta

Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta has revealed he will review his future and can return to Italy in January. The right back hasn’t featured in the Premier League so far as Maurizio Sarri has opted to start Cesar Azpilicueta on the right side of the defence.

Zappacosta arrived at the Stamford Bridge when Antonio Conte was in charge but the Italian international has failed to nail down a permanent spot as he mostly made substitute appearance from the bench under the former manager.

He had hoped to be a regular under sari but the former Napoli manager has a strict discipline for defenders and he only prefers players who are suited to his style of play.

Inter Milan had the chance of bringing Zappacosta back to his homeland but the Serie-A giants preferred to sign Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid.

Zappacosta said, ‘Could I return to Italy? Yes, Inter had been after me,

“My agent Alessandro Lucci had told me about their interest, although I’ve always remained focused on Chelsea.

“Could I return in January? I have three more years on my contract here and I only want to think about doing well with Chelsea.

“There’s a lot of competition here, but I want to win a place in the team. After that, it’s clear that if I didn’t find much room, I don’t think any player would like that.”
