The agent of Belgium star Kevin De Bruyne has insisted that his player will not be heading to the Premier League in January amid Manchester City links.
In recent weeks, it has emerged that the attacking midfielder was potentially going to be subject of a number of bids from various clubs once the transfer window opens in January.
And it is understood that one of the clubs include Manchester City, with the Premier League champions looking to bolster their squad ready to charge down the gap at the top which is being lead by Chelsea.
Belgium and Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany, has also urged his fellow international team-mate to make the switch to England, but now it looks likely that no deal will take place.
Speaking to German outlet Sport1, Patrick de Koster said: “De Bruyne has so far had a great season with Wolfsburg and it is normal that other teams are watching him, but there’s been no contact.”
“His intention is to remain with his current club.”
