Man Utd say that De Gea deal with Real Madrid will not be resurrected in January
Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, 24 was close to joining Real Madrid on deadline day in a deal that would have seen Keylor Navas go the other way but the move collapsed after the documentation was not done in time.
The two clubs blamed each other for the document mishap but it now looks like David De Gea will be staying until next summer where he will be a free agent unless he signs a new contract at United.
De Gea will now be in contention to play Man Utd’s next Premier League game at home to Liverpool.
