Transfer window after transfer window, Daniele De Rossi has been linked with a move away from Roma.
The Italian midfielder has spent his whole career with Roma, playing over 400 games since 2001.
De Rossi has also represented his national side on 90 occasions, bringing a wealth of experience to where ever he plays.
Recent reports believe that new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing the strong midfielder to Stamford Bridge to help shape up a potential title challenge.
At the age of 29, it could be argued that De Rossi’s best days are best him but Mourinho may see him as the perfect man to come into his new look Chelsea side.
The fee being thrown around by Football Italia for De Rossi’s services is £15m which would be no problem for Chelsea’s Russian owner Roman Abramovich.
It is yet to be announced by either Roma or Chelsea officials that there is interest for the 29 year old, but it does look like a potential Jose Mourinho signing.
