Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will wait until the end of the season to discuss a new contract at the club.
The Frenchman’s current deal expires at the end of this season and the board are worried that he may leave in the Summer in order to go back to his homeland of France.
Wenger has been under a lot of pressure recently, mainly coming from the fans because of the club’s current trophy drought, but after a successful start to the new campaign and a record signing in the figure of Mesut Ozil, fans appear to have fallen back in love with the Frenchman.
Speaking in an interview, Wenger revealed his plans about his contract situation.
“I will make a decision halfway through the season.
“Deep down, I have an idea what I want to do, but give me a bit of time.
“What interests me above all is to always meet the expectations of our fans.”
