The Blues have apparently held talks with Fenerbahce over a deal for Marco van Ginkel.
The Holland international is currently out on loan at PSV Eindhoven until the end of this season.
Fenerbahce have according to reports, the Dutch giants are set land Van Ginkel on a permanent deal.
And, now according to Turkish-Football, Fenerbahce representatives met with Chelsea Football Club chiefs during the past week.
Van Ginkel joined Chelsea from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013 but has failed to make an impact at first-team level.
However, despite that ‘Turkish-Football’ report, Van Ginkel’s agent Karel Jansen said he will hold talks with the Chelsea bosses in the summer.
Jansen said: “It is not clear what will happen, it is still early.
“The current season is still running so nothing has been decided.
“Discussions over whether he is part of Chelsea’s plans are still to be had.
“We must wait for the end of the season and after that we will consult with them.
“Chelsea renewed his contract before he went away on loan so in our opinion there is still a future at the club.
“We don’t know if PSV want to sign him permanently.
“PSV have not made a decision yet about next season at this stage.”
