Manuel Pellegrini has said that Declan Rice can play in every match this season.
The young Irishman has been in absolutely brilliant form and has contributed to the Hammers’ win in their last three encounters.
West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has showered praise on the young defender-turned-midfielder Declan Rice and has said that he deserves to play in every game. The player has been in terrific form this season and has earned rave reviews from a number of experts given his brilliant performance in his new role in the central midfield.
The Chilean gaffer said,  “Yes [he can play every game] because I think that he deserves to play every game, maybe in this week and during December when we have to play seven games and in January another six, some games maybe he will have to rest.
The former Premier League and FA Cup winning manager added, “I think that Declan has a great future, in this moment he is a very mature player – at 19 years old it is not easy, he needs to learn a lot about how to play better in that position but in every ball he gives all in the 95 minutes, he has good recovery and a good technique. I think we are seeing a player that you must talk about a lot in future years.”
19-year-old Rice has already played 16 games in all competitions this season and has displayed great discipline and tenacity on the pitch so far.
