Denis Suarez has said that Unai Emery is one of the best managers in the world.
The Spaniard is reportedly close to joining Arsenal, which is currently managed by Emery.
Barcelona’s out-of-favour winger Danis Suarez has hailed Unai Emery as one of the best managers in the world. The player is reportedly close to joining Arsenal, his compatriot Emery being the manager of the north London club. Suarez has had the experience of playing under the Spanish gaffer during his time at Sevilla and had helped his side to win the Europa League in 2014/15. Currently, at Barcelona, the player has fallen down in the pecking order under manager Ernesto Valverde and might be on his way out of the Nou Camp this January with a move to the Premier League looking likely for him.
Speaking to the UEFA official website, the Spaniard said, “He is one of the best coaches around. He really gets the best out of us. He considers each and every one of his players and always puts those who are in the best possible shape in his starting line-up.”
He added, “He always talks to you, both in good moments – to prevent you being distracted – and bad, to help you recover. The way he treats players is exceptional.”
