West Ham suffer another serious injury

West Ham United have suffered yet another long-term injury with the news that Diafra Sakho will be out of action for the next two months.

The striker damaged his thigh during the weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion and scans have revealed that the injury is worse than first feared.

Sakho Out

Sakho will now likely miss up to two months and will miss the busy Christmas period, along with Dimitri Payet, who is also out until the New Year.

With Sakho out, it’s believed Andy Carroll will lead the line for the Hammers over the next few weeks.

West Ham travel to Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon to take on Louis van Gaal‘s Manchester United, and Slaven Bilic will be hoping to claim yet another impressive away-day victory following their wins earlier this season at Emirates, Anfield and the Etihad.
