Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has rubbished recent speculation that forward Diego Costa could leave the Premier League title-holders.
Costa has somewhat struggled to capture form for the West Londoners – amid fallout in with fellow players and management over recent weeks.
He cut a frustrated figure in the Blues recent draw away at Tottenham Hotspur, in what has been a frustrating start to his second season at Stamford Bridge.
However, manager Mourinho rubbished any claims that his forward wanted away, prior to Chelsea’s Premier League encounter with Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
“Mourinho said: I don’t know why [people say that]. For me no question marks.
“Always played, was on the bench one match, which I think is more than natural.
“No problems, no problems at all.
“I think he always tried to give his best, sometimes playing phenomenal, other times not so well.
“But he is a player that always tries.
“I didn’t ask him [his reaction to last Sunday], but he trained very well.
“That’s the only thing that matters to me. I cannot say better than ever, because normally he trains very well.”
