Diego Simeone’s sister has revealed the manager could join Inter Milan in the future. The former Inter Milan player has been in the charge of Atletico Madrid since 2011.
Had it not been Simeone’s contribution the Spanish club wouldn’t have managed to rack up so much of success at the top level over the last few years. Since Simeone’s arrival in the capital the club have managed to have a greater chunk of the success and have stopped the Real Madrid, Barcelona monopoly in the La Liga.
A gaffer of his calibre has been linked with a number of clubs but the Argentine has preferred to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano. But his sister who also happens to be his agent thinks otherwise.
She feels the manager will be seen managing Inter in near future. “Diego said it too, sooner or later, he’ll end up at Inter.
“He loves the club, the atmosphere and living in Milan. Inter is a side he would really love to coach. I should point out that he is also still very fond of Lazio, too.”
“At the end of the day, passion always wins out.
“He is one of the best coaches in the world, but he remains where he knows there is still work to be done — and I stay with him.”
