Chelsea have confirmed they loaned young playmaker Mason Mount to Vitesse
As per squawka who reported that Chelsea have now officially confirmed young play-maker Mason Mount has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan deal.
An announcement on his move came via the Premier League champions’ official website this afternoon and it’s also been revealed that the 18-year-old has committed his future to the Stamford Bridge outfit by signing a new four-year deal.
A list of Mount’s accomplishments with Chelsea’s youth academy include being named Player of the Year for 2016/17 and winning the UEFA Youth League.
While on the international scene he played a starring role for England at the European Under-19 Championships earlier in the summer.
He provided the assist for both goals in the 2-1 win over Portugal in the final and heads to the Netherlands in a bid to get more first-team football under his belt.
