An agreement has now been officially reached for the permanent transfer of young Croatia Under-21 international Stipe Perica to Serie A side Udinese.
The 20-year-old forward will complete his move over to the Serie A club on the 1st of July having spent last season and on loan there, in which he made 22 appearances and netted four goals.
Perica signed for The Blues three years ago and had also spent time on loan over in the Netherlands at NAC Breda.
Stipe Perica will join Udinese sadly without making a single appearance for Chelsea’s first team.
No one knows how long Perica’s contract is or how long he has signed for or how much the fee is, however, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported there was a buy-out clause in the deal of €4 million when he first signed on loan.
