The Hornets have added two new players today
Watford Football Club have been busy in the transfer window today as they have added two new players to their squad ahead of the Premier League campaign.
Earlier today they announced the arrival of veteran defender Miguel Britos from Serie A side Napoli on a three-year deal, and they’ve backed that signing up by adding JosĂ© Manuel Jurado from Spartak Moscow.
Britos Arrival
Britos has signed a three-year deal after agreeing to leave Napoli, where he played for four years and made over 100 league appearances.
The 30-year-old helped Napoli finish second in Serie A during the 2012/13 campaign, and was also part of their Coppa Italia victories on two separate occasions.
Jurado Arrival
As for Jurado, the attacking-midfielder has also agreed to a three-year deal at Vicarage Road after swapping Russia for England.
The 29-year-old started his career in Spain, and made 115 appearances for Atletico Madrid, however in 2010, he completed a move to Bundesliga side Schalke.
Jurado was then loaned out to Spartak Moscow in 2012 before he made that move a permanent one.
The two new faces will join up with their new team-mates today.
