The midfielder has officially completed his move to the Gunners.

Granit Xhaka has officially completed his move to Arsenal from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 23-year old has been linked with the Gunners over the past few weeks and after days of speculation, he has now finally completed his move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Switzerland international has cost Arsene Wenger ÂŁ30m but the Gunners boss clearly believes he is worth every penny. The Frenchman said: “Granit is an exciting young player, already with good Champions League and Bundesliga experience.

“We have been watching him for a long time now and he is a player who will add quality to our squad. We wish Granit a good Euro 2016 with Switzerland and look forward to welcoming him to Arsenal ahead of next season.”

Heading to the Euros

Of course, Xhaka will be heading to the Euros this summer to represent Switzerland and will link up with his new Arsenal teammates in pre-season once the tournament is over.

The midfielder had been with Monchengladbach since 2012 and he has impressed many in the Bundesliga with some impressive performances in the centre of the pitch. He has also previously played for Basel, where he won two Swiss Super League titles.

Arsenal will certainly be hoping he can carry his good performances over to England and perhaps help them to a first Premier League title in over ten years.
