Arsenal have loaned striker Yaya Sanogo to Charlton Athletic for the rest of the Sky Bet Championship season.

The 23-year-old has been part of the Gunners side since 2013 – winning the FA Cup, and has featured sporadically at the both Premier League, as well as Champions League level.

Sanogo returns to the English capital with the Addicks, having spent the first-half of the campaign at Dutch side, Ajax, but makes the temporary move to the Valley, as manager Jose Riga looks to haul his side to safety in the second-tier.

Sanogo, capped at international level by the U21s, was on loan at Crystal Palace towards the back end of last season.

The Addicks are 23rd in the standings, two points adrift of safety – however they picked up a vital win away at Rotherham United on Saturday – winning the game 4-1.

Meanwhile, Ricardo Vaz Te and Franck Moussa have had their contracts terminated by mutual-consent.
