Stewart Downing, the man who has often been ridiculed in recent times could be heading over to London, and in particular West Ham.
The 28 year old winger has had a somewhat horrible time at Liverpool, going a whole season without a goal nor assist and not coming close to the form he showed at previous clubs, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.
A move away from Liverpool for Downing would be seen as a wise move with new signings such as Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto expected to make somewhat of an impact this coming season.
The Daily Star reports that West Ham want to sign the winger as they believe Liverpool will be willing to listen to offers.
Liverpool will be interested by this as they could see it as an opportunity to take Downing off the already high wage-bill at Anfield, and potentially bring in a few new faces.
