Drogba to leave Galatasaray

Didier Drogba will leave Turkish side Galatasaray when his contract expires next month.

The ex Chelsea favourite revealed he will be leaving the club after 18 months, on his insta-gram account.

The Ivory Coast striker, who will represent his country at this summer’s World Cup Finals in Brazil, stated a heart-felt message to his fans on the social media site. 

“Dear Fans, dear brothers, dear sisters, since day one of my arrival thanks to you all, I felt at home here in Turkey,” wrote Drogba.

“Sharing, seeing, feeling the passion, sincerity and warm hospitality of My Turkish people is trully unforgettable.”

It is rumoured that the 36 year old could be in for a return to Chelsea, who he left in 2012.

Drogba scored 20 goals in 53 games for the club, after signing from megs rich Chinese club Shanghai.
