Dybala: Why I chose Juventus

Paulo Dybala says he followed his ‘dream’ choosing Juventus over a Premier League side

Dybala insisted his mind was made up instantly when he heard Juventus were interested in him.

The 21-year-old, who scored 13 goals in 31 games, has been linked with a host of Premier League teams including Manchester United and Arsenal.

However, Palermo’s vice-president Guglielmo Micciche recently dropped a hint that Juventus are the only team with a real chance of signing Dybala.

Player’s thoughts

Dybala was quick to point out Juventus was the only team he would have considered joining once he had left Palermo.

“I said straight away that I wanted to join this club for lots of reasons. One is that I like to win in everything that I do.

“Playing for a great club like Juventus represents an important step. The first team competition here means you can never ease off, which keeps you on your toes” said Dybala.

Manchester United interest

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal was rumoured to be interested in the Argentine striker as a replacement for Robin Van Persie.

The Dutchman, who spent three seasons at Old Trafford, joined Turkish side Fenerbahce for an undisclosed fee earlier this week.
