Sean Dyche has hailed Burnley’s winning performance against West Ham United.

The Clarets were surprise winners against the east London side as they beat them by 2-0.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has said that he is delighted with his side’s win over West Ham United. The Clarets went onto win their last match against the Hammers as they scored twice in the first half to sink the east London side at Turf Moor. This was only their fourth win of the season in 20 matches so far this season, leaving them in the 18th spot in the league table.

Speaking to the media after the match, the Burnley gaffer said, “It was a pleasing result but the main thing was the performance and we have recently been back to those levels, but until today it was the details that had been killing us. We tweaked the shape and made some changes, which is always a risk, but delighted with a fine performance.”

Speaking about using Tom Heaton ahead of Joe Hart, Dyche said, “I have three international goalkeepers here, but you can only play one of them. The stats had been against us conceding goals and the final piece I could change was the goalkeeper. I thought it was necessary and appropriate. But Joe is still a great goalkeeper and he has great respect from us. He was the first to jump up on the bench when Tom made that save at the end.”

The Clarets are set to face Huddersfield Town in their next match in the Premier League.
