Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is bracing up prior to their crucial fixture against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.

The Cherries are currently on a four match losing run and will face the Terriers in a bid to overturn their current form. Despite making an excellent start to the season their early season form has dampened following their recent string of results.

Fixtures haven’t been very kind to them as they had to encounter with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United in the last four matches and the results were not up to the mark as they couldn’t defeat any of the big clubs.

However, Howe will fancy his chance against David Wagner’s side who has had a very erratic season so far. Howe said, “I think, collectively, the spirit is still very good and this game tomorrow night will be massive for us.

“We need to show that our confidence hasn’t dipped in any way.”

“Four defeats [in a row] doesn’t sit well with us.

“Throughout the season you’re always going to have those moments unfortunately. That’s just the reality of the division.

“The Newcastle game was a big frustration because we didn’t get the performance or the result, but I think in the other three we have been relatively happy with a lot of what’s happened.

“We just haven’t quite been clinical enough or defended well enough in key moments, but a lot of positives to take from those games.”
